“From Russia with Love” at Lincoln Center, N.Y.

“From Russia with Love”  was an art exhibition held at Lincoln Center, NYC during the NY tour of the St. Peterburg National Opera.  Due to the financial difficulties of the arts in Russia immediately after Glasnost an exhibition of international artists was organized in the lobby of the theater in order to raise funds.

The artists were invited to exhibit a print of the Menorah “Tree of Life” silkscreen. This 22 color silk screen in an edition of 75 sold out by 1994.  All the proceeds from the auction went to the St. Peterburg National Opera.
